Sometimes things are not what they seem, like my friend in the picture here, who really is a work of art.
Artists create these sculptures and sometimes photographers get to make pictures of them, a great symbiotic relationship if ever there was one.
Some pieces have a degree of realism to them whilst others are quite surreal and yet others just plain fun.
Many are expressions of the artists imaginative use of everyday materials and the reuse of what might be consider old junk.
Some are serious life studies.
Others are titillating absract representations of the human form.
Finally there are the fun animals that bring a smile to your face.
